After being caught and having a soul implanted, his body leads the Seekers to the rest of his family making Jamie and Melanie flee.
He appears in Melanie's memories, debating with his brother Jeb Stryder about danger Jeb suspects and, at an earlier point, telling young Melanie about the Stryders' ranch.
